Nicole Faltum will transition from the T20I tour of New Zealand to lead the Australia A 50-over team.

Heather Graham, Nicole Faltum and Charli Knott will captain Australia A in a multi-format series against England A starting in late March.
The series comprises three T20s, three one-day matches, and a four-day game, all scheduled to be played in Sydney.
Graham will captain the Australia A T20 side, while Faltum, recently selected for the T20I tour of New Zealand commencing March 21, will lead the one-dayers. Knott, an all-rounder from Queensland, will take on the captaincy for the four-day match from April 12-15 at Cricket Central.

Prior to the England A series, the second edition of the Green vs Gold match will take place, featuring two teams of Australian players competing in a three-day game in Canberra from March 12-14. Last year’s event saw Georgia Voll score a double century.
Faltum will captain the Green team, while Gold will be led by Knott.
National selector Shawn Flegler stated that these series are crucial for the elite player pathway, offering valuable development opportunities for promising domestic players to demonstrate their abilities against strong international competitors.
He added that the National Selection Panel is focused on future talent, as seen with successful transitions of players like Georgia Voll and Phoebe Litchfield into the Australian team. This series provides an excellent chance to assess a wide range of players.
Flegler mentioned the inclusion of fresh faces in the squads and expressed excitement about seeing players like Grace Dignam, Elsa Hunter, Gabby Sutcliffe, Sianna Ginger, and Rhys McKenna in action.
With a one-day World Cup in India this year and a T20 World Cup the following year, the ‘A’ series will be particularly useful for evaluating players who could be in contention for selection.
The England A tour follows the senior side’s 16-0 Ashes whitewash earlier in the season.
