The Indian cricket team’s manager, R Devraj, has abruptly left the team to be with his family during a time of bereavement. His mother sadly passed away on Sunday morning, and upon hearing this news, Devraj immediately traveled to Hyderabad.

Indian team officials have confirmed this news. The Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma, is currently participating in their final league match of the Champions Trophy against New Zealand in Dubai on Sunday. It is uncertain at this time whether Devraj will return to his managerial duties. A decision about his return is expected to be made after the semifinal match on Tuesday.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), where Devraj serves as secretary, has released a statement expressing their condolences. They stated, ‘It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Devraj’s mother, Kamaleshwari garu. We pray that her soul rests in peace and offer our deepest sympathies to Devraj garu and his family.’
